# 0.5.3

Released 1 November 2026.

A flow that stubs the network now works even when your app was opened from its icon, from Xcode or by a previous run: Squiggle relaunches the app with network capture before the flow, from the terminal and from your agent's `run_flow` alike. Before, every `network.stub` step failed with "stub not applied", even with `--capture-net`.

Nothing to change: you no longer need `--fresh` or `--capture-net` for flows that stub the network.

## CLI

- **Fix**: a flow that stubs the network, directly or through a flow it runs, turns network capture on by itself, and relaunches an app that is running without it
- **Fix**: a refused stub says why: `stub not applied (<url>): the app was not launched by Squiggle with network capture`
- **Fix**: a run no longer crashes with "srp: client disposed" when the dev-client launcher opens your bundle and the app reloads its JavaScript
- **Fix**: `squiggle up --if-needed --capture-net` relaunches an app that is running without network capture, instead of reporting it ready

## Agents & MCP

- **Fix**: `run_flow` relaunches an app running without network capture when the flow stubs the network, and says so in its result
- **Fix**: `run_flow` no longer reports "the relaunch did not fix it" after a relaunch that worked

## SDK

- **Fix**: the SDK reports its real version. Every earlier SDK reported 0.0.0, so `squiggle doctor` warned that it differed from your CLI: update the SDK in your app to clear the warning
